My lady and I were also thought to be married, but finally did it in December 2005 and now have a new little peanut in our life who was born in January 2007! Many good wishes from us to you!

As people frantically run about, making ready and packing for Pennsic,
Giovanni and I wished to share some news with folks.

It's common in the SCA to refer to our partners as my lord or my lady,
but that doesn't give any indication as to whether the persons are
legally married in real life. And those of you who know Giovanni and
I, know we've been together for a *long* time. You probably think
we're already married.

We're not, yet.

But we will be, at the end of August :)

And because we're happy, we wanted to share it with the kingdom. And
because we're insane, we want to invite people over for the reception.

If you know us, and if you wish to be here, please email us so we can
put you on the list and send directions. The date is August 25th, the
last Saturday in the month, and the location will be here in
Pittsburgh.

Did I mention Alastar's cooking?

For those who can't make it, we hope to see you at Pennsic, and will
gladly accept whatever... form your wishes will be in. Whether it be
libations, fencing smacks, or embarassingly small targets to shoot at,
we will do our best to spread our happiness with all.
