[SCA-AE] Relocating to Delftwood HELP! HELP!

Noble Cousins!

Greetings from Solveig! After some difficulty, I found the Orange  
Paper website and made a list of places to check out only to have my  
boss make strongly disapproving noises about the locations that I was  
looking at. Specifically, a bunch of the places were more or less  
North-East of the Sci-Tech building some abutting the Eastern side of  
a large park nearby. OK. I have no idea of which neighborhoods are  
safe. My boss was making noises about night-time drug deals. What I  
am trying to find. A real live apartment ideally half of a house with  
off-street parking which is within walking distance of the Sci-Tech  
building. This waking distance business is serious as my boss went  
and scheduled me for an 8:00 AM time slot. ARGH! The students are all  
asleep even if they show up for class. Further, I don't function well  
until about 10:00 AM myself.

I have thus far looked at precisely one apartment. It was a miserable  
affair on Walnut (I think it was) just past frat row in a house cut  
up into at least six units. Also, the parking was strictly on-street.  
Syracuse is paying me fairly decently, so I can afford a halfway  
reasonable place if I can find one.
