I found this on Lochac Chivalry Page http://www.sca.org.au/chivalry/articles/Inigo_Virtues.htmlit is very good , check it out for further definitions, but I will try to summarize.1)Measure"Appropriate restraint; moderation"2)Justice"The quality of being just; fairness."3)Honesty"The quality or condition of being honest: integrity, truthfulness, sincerity."4)Courage"The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery."5)Humility "Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful. Showing deferential or submissive respect." 6)Loyalty "The state or quality of being loyal. A feeling or attitude of devoted attachment and affection." 7)Magnanimity "Courageously noble in mind and heart. Generous in forgiving; eschewing resentment or revenge; unselfish." 8)Courtesy "Polite behavior. Willingness or generosity in providing something needed." 9)Largesse "Liberality in bestowing gifts, especially in a lofty or condescending manner. Money or gifts bestowed. Generosity of spirit or attitude." 10)Franchise "A privilege or right officially granted a person or a group." The right and obligation to act as a knight, laurel or pelican. In much the same way as a McDonalds franchise has rights and obligations, knights, laurels and pelicans have rights and obligations of their rank. 11)Prowess "Superior skill or ability. Superior strength, courage, or daring, especially in battle." 12)Faith Either in a higher power or the greater good of your fellow man.I was moved by his interpretations of knighlty qualities so much, both I and my 8 yo son have them printed out and hung in our "studies" Thomas der Kreuzfahrer, House Silver Talon
