LOL! All of this talk about bardic fired me up enough for me try to put
aside my undying terror of playing in public and attempt to bring my violin
with me to our A&S meeting.
I tried going into a different room entirely so that I couldn't see anyone,
but I was so scared my fingers wouldn't work on the strings.. then with
each mistake I made, it got worse.. and worse... !
After a bit I gave up and put it aside and went to talk with everyone, but
all I could think was "They heard me. They think I'm awful!
*sigh* I think that I'll just continue to play for myself when the kids are
napping. No pressure, just music.
It's funny, I can fight or tell a story or make a toast, but to pick up my
bow and play just seems beyond me. *grin* Guess I'm not quitting my day
job! I don't know how the bards do it, but it's something I respect.
