[SCA-AE] Bardic Competition at Seven Deadlies, Feb 17th, Delftwood

As our investiture time draws near, my enjoyable time as Baronial Bardic 
Champion comes to an end.  It is time to host the tournament to choose the 
next champion and (ring?) leader of the Blue Bardic Brigade!

We invite all who attend Seven Deadlies to participate in the tournament and 
all bardic styles recognized by the SCA are welcome, for there will be BOTH 
a "Baronial Champion" AND a "Best of Tournament" winner chosen.  There will 
ALSO be recognition given DURING the competition for "honorable 
representation" of each of the various sins. Performers entering in the 
Baronial Championship should make Delftwood the subject of  his/her piece.

Each participant should be prepared to perform 2 (two) pieces, limited to 3 
minutes in length. Each performer will perform his/her first piece, and TIME 
PERMITTING, we will do a second round. Who knows, a bardic circle can break 
out!

We look forward to experiencing all of your performances. Remember, the 
acoustics in the upstairs bar are marvelous (just ask Lady Helene!) It is a 
great place to perform!
