Was wondering when this was going to crop up. Who knows...the desire to 
break off because of population size, distance or ideological differences 
could happen here too. Fifteen years ago the cry was "Free Æthelmearc!" Ten 
years from now it could be "Free Northern Æthelmearc!" and for very much the 
same reasons.

It's difficult to predict which ways the winds of change will blow. As the 
famous poster says, when the winds of change blow hard enough, the most 
trivial of things can become deadly projectiles.
