I'd advise some caution when donating alchohol for gift baskets. When I
asked about this last year, I heard the same thing from several folks who
had both made and received gift baskets. It ran something like this:
"Our brewers are great and make wonderful product. I would drink just about
anything that I got directly from their hands. I don't drink things of
unknown origin -- even from a gift basket."
So, at the very least, make sure any potables for gift baskets are labelled
as to what they are, content, and who they are from...
