Please don't let you quest for the "perfect armour" prevent you from
fighting and doing the other stuff that you find in fun in the SCA.  If
you do you may never take the field again.

Keep[ working towards your goal - you'll learn some interesting things
about fighting in a period armour and some even more interesting things
about yourself while taking this journey.

Trust me I know.
