My favorite scroll was my Willow scroll (unfortunately lost at Pennsic many years ago by the Dragon Herald who was supposed to get it signed by Eislinn).  It was vey simple, no illumination, but it was a beautiful hand and had a gold leaf capital "L" at the head of the scroll.  It was crafted for me by a friend from my original canton, who caligraphed it in a hand appropriate to my original persona.
