[SCA-AE] Crown Tourney Question/personal banner display?

Quite honestly, this concern (or the others) does not add up for me. Are
our Peers hermits that must be sought out in remote caves in the wilderness?
No, they attend events locally and in neighboring groups and regions. Many
of our Peers are gregarious individuals and easy to get to know. It is not
necessary to have Peers locally to know enough Peers to get three
recommendations. For anyone who is active in the Kingdom, this is a very
easy requirement to meet. I would think that anyone who seriously believed
in serving the role of Crown of this Kingdom would already travel and
socialize enough to remedy this perceived problem.
The requirements put forth for Crown are easy to meet. If they are too hard
for a person to accomplish, just consider how much harder it would be to
actually wear the Crown.
Their Highnesses have presented the standards to follow for their Crown
tournament. These are realistic and easy to meet. If anyone has a problem
meeting them, choose not to complain about the requirement but to instead
ask for help meeting them. In the process, the hopeful participant will
undoubtedly learn many positive things as the effort is put forth to rise to
the occasion.

personally know ANY peers, never mind 3. And though we try not to be,
people do find peers intimidating, so just going up to one you don't know
and asking for a recommendation could be daunting.

who want to fight in Crown should travel more and meet some, since they'll
have to if they win anyway. But traveling to events is not the same thing
as getting to know foreign peers well enough to feel comfortable asking for
a letter of recommendation.
