I received this message from Lady Nivah and was asked to pass it along. Thank you kindly to all who have offered help and advise! You do not know how wonderful it is!

----
Thank you to all who have expressed an interest in helping us with the design project. I have been able to reply to those who have contacted me either through a forwarded reply or directly.
The great news is we may be able to complete this within a few weeks with the help we have been offered AND possibly have all embroidery machine formats available soon! For examples of what we have created so far, please visit the Barony of Thescorre Threadworkers Guild page. All files will be added to the page for others to access and any other formats (other than Artista) needed may be requested by contacting Lady Nivah if you do not have conversion software. Bernina users may be able to also have access to the design files if we are able to work out the creation with another kind gentles assistance.

The graphics needs are pretty specific. the digitizing program I use is from Husqvarna and requires very clean lines. I can use a color or a black and white picture but excess shading (example is the Hunter's Home deer and laurel), lines that are not solid (St. Swithins hand) and too much detail (Beau Fleuve animals in border) will cause the program to fill areas in an inconsistent manner. When the lines in the laurel spray fill between the leaf and stem the background color will not completely fill in around the spray and often the leaf and stem merge to create a mass that no longer resemble the distinct leaf and stem spray.

Devices still needing to be done -
Angels keep.
Beau Fleuve
Cour d'Or
Misty Highlands
Port Oasis
Sylvan glen
Stetonwald
Hunters Home
Gryffons Keep
Kings crossing
Riversedge
Stormsport
Sunderoak
Endless Hills - completed
Riverouge
Nithgaard
St. Swithins
Westland Moor
Winter's Edge
Sterlynge Vayle
Wynterset

Heronteer is done but really needs work on the laurel, not clean and blends in too much so it looks like a mass stem. Rest of it seems fine.
Cour dor needs work on the tree and laurel. I got a design to digitize but it looks messy and will not fill in totally around the tree top and bottom roots or laurel. What I see there is too deep a black outline between the leaves.

As files are completed we will cross them off so efforts are not being duplicated.

I will be very pleased to also create stitch files for other group's awards and individual devices for those who help with this project. Until your group is able to add the files to your home page I believe Carlo may be able to add them to the threadworkers page temporarily for easy access.

Thank you again,
Nivah
