[SCA-AE] articles of interest

Greetings from Myfanwy!
Subscription information can be gotten through their website [URL:
www.interweave.com].
Besides _Spin-Off_ (which comes out quarterly, $30/year), they also
publish _Handwoven_, _Piecework_ and _Interweave Knits_ -- I subscribe
to all but the last (and I'm considering that one as well, since I tend
to find I like their patterns, even if they're OOP).
While we're on the subject, there was a kind of interesting
(basic/generalist) article on socks in the Fall '06 issue of _Vogue
Knitting_ (of all places!) that has a couple of photos -- one of 5th c.
Coptic socks done in nalbinding (and the article actually talks a bit
about nalbinding!) and one of 17th c. socks with embroidered clocks
that are either seamed up the back or embroidered to look that way.
