In addition : )

The Harborcreek Exit right before Erie (driving South on 90) is always
cheaper than Erie proper. Also if you are driving the 90 W thru NY exit at
the Silver Creek exit and bear right - Gas should be 2.45 or so.

If you are traveling Route 86 W thru NY Get off in Salamanca and drive past
the McDonalds. On the right is a gas station Antoines and I paid 2.45 there
yesterday.

I apologize if this doesn't apply to you but every little bit helps : )

For those heading down to PA from NY for Coronation, here's an observation
you might find of use.

Currently gasoline prices in PA are averaging 20 cents LESS per gallon
than in NY. I paid $2.59/gallon in Grove City (off Rt. 79 just north of
Pennsic) on my way home from Summer's End yesterday, whereas prices in
Buffalo ranged from $2.75 to $2.85 for regular unleaded.

So New Yorkers could save a couple of bucks by deliberately arriving in PA
with a mostly empty tank and fueling up then, as well as shortly before
reaching NY on the way home.
