The Barony of Endless Hills beckons - so come one come all - don your best Pyrate hat, boots, and blades and join us at Port Lacawac Sanctuary - for a day of pillaging, plundering, and swashbuckling fun, sure to satisfy even the most discriminatory of piratey tastes (thar' will also b'a "best dressed [historically accurate] Pyrate contest). And what better way to relax and enjoy the plunders o'the day, than to sit down to - nay, not to hard tac m'maties - but a tempting and tantalizing feast - prepared by that infamous galley extraordinaire - Mess Wizard - Master of the wooden spoon - that culinary connoisseur - Lord Matthias (zepheral at yahoo.com) and t'further intice yer tastebuds, [during arrr most recent pillaging and plundering] we, shall we say, "acquired" those infamous mercenaries, Primo De Napoli and is Lady Wife Giovanna - n'bein' t'fair Pyrates w'arrrr... acquiesced t'allow em' to work n'the gally n'stead o'makin' em walk t'plank. T'negotiate fer their lives, they agreed t'prepare some authentic Native American dishes ... 
n' if'n the foods nay b'any good, we'll keel haul em' then make em' all walk the plank!

The day's schedule will be bountiful to not only include a Pyrate's fill of swashbuckling engagement and heavy fighting - but also youth activities, thrown weapons, archery, dancing, and Arts & Sciences [to include an A&S auction] ~and~ by special request of Her Excellency, Baroness Isabella - a Court of Hearts - is also on the succulent and toothsome menu for your pillaging and plundering enjoyment. And if that's not enough to fill your platters, our own infamous merc of merc's - Primo De Napoli, will be holding a special Heavy Weapons "Great Sword" tournament.

There will be something for everyone!! A Pyrates playhouse of adventure! Bards will be encouraged to stand up atop the pirates chest and regale the crew with tales of the briney deep (parrots not included). Ye may pull n'ta port at 9am (gate opens at 9) and ye need t'be boardin' yar ship fer home at 9pm (that there means the event closes at 9pm fer you landlubbers). 

Merchants are welcome, but bein' Pyrates of the highest caliber, we must request a most modest piece of eight for the space. ($1.00). 

Member costs for the event are: Site Fee: [$8.00 Crew] - [ $7 Cabin Mates 13-17] - [$4 Cabin Mates 6-12]. [Wee Bairns - 5 and under free] 
Non Member Service Fee: $3.00

Directions: From I-84 East (towards Milford/Mt. Pocono). Take the Lake Wallenpaupack Exit (20) and follow Route 507 north for half a mile. Turn left onto Ledgedale Road. Follow to stop sign, then turn right (toward Hawley). Go one mile and turn right onto St Mary Church Road. Go 0.2 miles and turn right onto Lacawac Road. After about half a mile turn right at the Lacawac Sanctuary / Sanctuary Road sign onto a dirt road. 

Please be aware that, "The mission of Lacawac Sanctuary Foundation is to preserve Lake Lacawac, its watershed, the surrounding forest and historic structures; provide a venue for ecological research, scholarly interaction and the training of scientists; provide public education on environmental and conservation issues; and conserve open space in Pennsylvania." Due this, certain rules and restrictions apply to include that smoking will only be allowed in specifically designated areas. This is a descreetly damp site.
