Greetings unto the populace of the Sylvan Kingdom of AEthelmearc!
It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Kingdom Roll of Arms
is now complete (as much as possible) and may be viewed at:
http://www.aeheralds.net/rolls/index.php
This noble project was conceived and created by Lord William Castille,
currently the principal herald of the Kingdom of Lochac. Lord William
graciously placed the project under the care of the AEthelmearc College
of Heralds earlier this year, and since then we have endevoured to
create image files for any arms which had not yet been included. It is
the goal to include all residents of AEthelmearc with registered
devices. To that end, we have extracted information from the Kingdom
Order of Precedence as well as all of the device registrations made
through the kingdom of AEthelmearc. That process is now complete!
Some people with registered devices may find that they are not yet
included:
- Persons who (1) have had their devices registered through another
kingdom (including the East before AEthelmearc became a kingdom) AND,
(2) have not received a precedence bearing award through the kingdom
court of AEthelmearc, especially...
- Persons who have moved to AEthelmearc from outside the kingdom.
If you are not included in the rolls and you do have registered armory,
I would encourage you to contact me so that we may add you to the roll.
If your device is included, but is incorrect, please let me know and I
will correct the graphic file as soon as possible.
If your device is correct, but the rendering isn't particularly to your
liking, let me know and I will try to make improvements as we are able.
Most of the devices in the rolls were created using clip art so that we
could create the project in a timely manner.
Lastly, the project is designed to include armory under the name
spellings that are officially registered with the College of Arms. Of
course, there are numerous gentles who are better known by names other
than what is registered to them. I am looking into the possiblility of
accommodating a cross reference for such cases, but that will probably
not happen very soon. The kingdom Order of Precedence, however, does
cross reference variant name forms and unofficial names, and is a great
resource when trying to determine a gentle's "official" name:

I can be contacted off list at: alheydis (AT) frodelius (DOT) com
It is my hope that this project will prove useful to heralds, scribes,
and the populace of our fair kingdom. And to that end may I remain ever-
in service,
Alheydis
