A minor quibble with the Royal Court Report, made by her Excellency
maestra Giulietta da Venezia:

> Master Emrys Eustace, hight Broom took note of the many lovely
> entries in the day's Arts and Sciences competition, and presented a
> prize to the winer, Sarab bint Alima.

There was no "winner", per se, as it was merely a display. I had hoped
to draw forth some exceptional entrants in court for special praise,
but alas, of that list only Sarab (hight April) was able to stay
through court.

Allow me now to praise them all (and hope I get the names right!):

Lady Sarab bint Alima, who displayed a work-in-progress: a leather
jack, filled out & waxed, but not yet polished, with documentation she
threw together onsite,

Don Bastiano, who made the hilt on the new Baronial Fencing Sword,
adorned with comets, escarbuncles, and a curious pattern of three
4-pointed stars,

Talan, aka Michael, who made his debut with a wide-ranging display of
incised & stamped & dyed leather works: a book cover, bracers, an
in-progress book cover, and another item or two!

Lady Hrefna in Heppna Thorgrimsdottir, who embroidered a cover for her
"brag book" made at the request of her master, and who didn't know
until now that it was on display all day, but after all, it's purpose
is to brag on her,

and last, and least, my medieval ale, brewed with wild BMDL yeasts, in
the lovely jug that was NOT an entry, and was NOT empty, and probably
would have been better with a note saying so, so that people didn't
feel tempted to up-end it in search of the maker's mark.

Congrats, and thanks, to all who displayed their works!
