[SCA-AE] Bardic Circle in Westland Mor this Saturday!

Greetings from Lady Rose Thorne and the members of the Canton of 
Westland Mor, 

The history of our fair and glorious Kingdom of AEthelmearc and the 
whole of the knowne world is held in the stories and songs we hold 
dear. Part of our responsibility to is share our history with 
newcomers. So come Bards and Storytellers and even the Jokesters to 
share your melodies, tales, and jokes with those new to the Society 
and to tweak the memories of those who've seen it happen.With the 
harvest behind us and winter head, let us join together for a Bardic 
Circle to celebrate and plant the seeds of new friendships that will 
grow in the coming years! 

When? Saturday, October 28th, 2006
Time? The site will open at 9:30 a.m. and close at dusk when the 
park close.
Where: Mammoth Park in Pavilion #7. 

We ask that you bring a covered dish and your feast gear. There is 
no fee.

Please share this with your Barony, Shire, and Canton members and 
egroups.

Directions to Mammoth Park 



>From the Northwest: Exit Rt. 30 at the Greensburg/Mt. Pleasant exit 
and follow the sign toward Mt. Pleasant at the end of the exit ramp 
(from the west you will be turning right, from the east you will 
turn 
left). Continue past the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and 
the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds. In the town of United, turn 
left. At the Mammoth Park sign travel approximately one mile to a 
stop sign and turn right onto 981 South. Make an immediate left at 
the Mammoth Park sign. Proceed 1.7 miles to another stop sign and 
turn left. Continue straight ahead to the park. 

>From the North: Off of Rt. 30 turn at the traffic light onto Rt. 981 
South. At the four way stop turn right towards the airport. Continue 
straight and make a left onto Rt. 130 East. Travel 1.2 miles to the 
next stop sign and turn right. Continue straight for 2.2 miles and 
turn right onto Blacksmith Rd. The park entrance is a half-mile down 
the road on the left. 


>From the South: Follow Route 31 to Rt. 982 North. Follow the signs 
to the park.
