Being the Report of the Court of Their Majesties, Christopher and
Morgen, King and Queen of Æthelmearc, with Their Excellencies,
Alonzio and Tatyana, Baron and Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the
Debatable Lands in attendance. Court held October 21, AS 41 (2006)
at the Agincourt Event in Their Barony-Marche of the Debatable

Their Majesties invited His Excellency, Barak Elandris Bear the
Wallsbane, Deputy Seneschal for New Groups, into Their Presence. Syr
Bear asked that the members of the Incipient Shire of Gryffon's Keep
present themselves before Their Majesties, whereupon Lord Thomas
Lestrange handed Syr Bear a Petition signed by the Shire Members
asking that they be elevated to full Shire status. Syr Bear noted
that the group had thus fulfilled the last requirement necessary to
become a full Shire, and asked Their Majesties to determine its
fate. Their Majesties expressed their pleasure at the industry and
enthusiasm of the group, and proclaimed the Shire of Gryffon's Keep
no longer incipient. The Shire then presented gifts to Their
Majesties and Their Excellencies.

Their Majesties noted that They were a bit hungry and, having spied
Mistress Karana Yabokchi among the populace, asked her to attend
Them. Their Majesties remarked upon Karana's habit of making most
excellent sandwiches for those who are busy working at events and who
might not otherwise attend to their own physical well-being, and
commended her for taking care of such people. In recognition of her
kindness and her noble nature, Their Majesties created Karana
Yabokchi a Baroness of Their Court. Scroll by Master Christofao
Vecchione, with a scroll stand by Master Creature Twyne Dragon.

Their Majesties' hunger having not yet been appeased asked to have a
word with Master Alastar Scott MacCrummin. They remarked upon
numerous occasions within Their memory upon which Master Alastar
could be found in the kitchens of our fair Kingdom, quite literally
slaving away over a hot stove. They recalled his having stepped in
upon more than one occasion when a previously engaged cook had had to
withdraw, and saving the day for many a harried autocrat. They then
asked the Companions of the Most Noble Order of the Pelican to attend
Them, whereupon Their Majesties directed the Order to counsel Alastar
that he might return before Them upon a future date to be mutually
decided, where Alastar shall answer the question whether he will
accept elevation to the Most Noble Order of the Pelican. Scroll by
Hrefna in heppna Thorgrimsdottir.

The Court of Their Majesties was closed.
