they can be??? ;)

rufina, whose father lost his wallet while playing in a special golf
tournament at oakmont country club and found it 3 years later in the bottom
of his golf bag....

There was a similar item in the paper recently. It seems a soldier lost his
> West Point ring in 1999. He sold his red sports car. The new owner sold
> it
> again a few years later to a 24 yo woman. The woman owned a ferret. The
> ferret got loose from his cage and found the shiny under the seat. The
> woman sold it to a pawn shop. The pawn shop owner got suspicious of a 24
> yo
> woman with a West Point ring dated 1980's and called the police to report
> stolen goods. The police were able to find the original owner because
> they
> had the year, initials and SSN on the inside of the ring. The soldier is
> currently in Iraq, but they contacted him. He asked his wife to pay the
> pawn
> shop owner and he's delighted to have his West Point ring back after
> loosing
> it half a decade ago!
