Greetings unto the Populace of our Glorious Kingdom of Aethelmearc and beyond!  We, your humble Autocrats Lord Ardal of Antioch (Dennis Coppinger, 41 East Main Street, Angelica, NY 14709, 585-466-7238, Squireardal at hotmail.com ) and Lady Deirdre Scot of Clan Scot (Nancy Scott, 1558 Stannards Road, State Route 19 South, Wellsville, NY 14895, (585-596-0613), LadyDeirdre at adelphia.net) on behalf of the Industrious Shire of Hartstone, wish to invite one and all to join us for our annual event, "Hunter's Moon," on October 21, 2006. Our site this year is the Wellsville Elementary School, 98 School Street, Wellsville, NY 14895.  

Activities

  


Among the activities planned for the day are an opportunity for instruction from the Order of the Chivalry, as we are honored to carry on the "Gold Chain" Series. There will also be a youth tournament, that has been added for the younger fighters.For those who prefer the gentler arts, a regional scriptorium is being planned. As well as a silent auction to benefit the Kingdom Travel fund. 
While lunch is being prepared by our own Lady Katriona of the Groves.  A hearty feast, befitting the time of year, will be prepared by our own Lady Sarra Moore, (Yvonne Campbell, 41East Main Street, Angelica, NY 14709, (585-466-7238), yellowbird15 at hotmail.com) and her kitchen staff. Any dietary concerns should be addressed with Lady Sarra. It is our Head Cook's fervent wish that as many gentles as possible leave our company as happy and as well fed as possible

Fees


The site will open promptly at 9 am and will close at 9 pm.  The tollner charges are set at $8.00 per gentle over 18, and $4.50 per gentle 6-17 while babes in arms are free. Gentles fortunate enough to get a feast reservation will have an additional charge of $7.00 per adult, and $4.50 for youth ages 6-17. Again the babes in arms are without further charge. Our feast is being capped at 50 this year, so pre-register early! Anyone wishing to pre-register and ensure their spot for feast, may send all applicable information to our reservation clerk, Lady Lillian of Hartstone, (Heather Bevacqua, 49 Chestnut Ave, Dansville, NY 14437, (585-335-9158), luckylady1099 at yahoo.com. No phone calls after 9 pm, please.) A $3.00 non-member surcharge will need to be taken at the tollner's station for any gentles without membership cards.  Please, do not include this surcharge in your pre-registrations, but do include Modern names as well as SCAdian, and please itemize the total to ease the check-in process. Checks are to be made to SCA, Inc~Shire of Hartstone.

>From the West:  Find the best route to I-86 East. Take Exit #30/Route 19 towards Wellsville/Belmont. Turn right onto Route 19 South about 13 miles. Continue on Route 417 .6 miles. Turn right onto Fair Street.
>From the East:  Find the best route to I-86 West. Take Exit #44 onto US-15 South towards Williamsport. Follow US-15 4.5 miles, and turn onto RT-417 exit toward Erwin/Addison. Turn right onto route 417, and continue for 43 miles. Turn left onto Fair Street after the underpass.
>From the Pittsburg, PA:  Find the best route to I-79 North and follow this towards Erie. Take the I-90 Exit towards Buffalo. Get off on the I-86East Exit. Follow I-86. Take Exit #30/Route 19 towards Wellsville/Belmont. Turn right onto Route 19 South about 13 miles. Continue on Route 417 .6 miles. Turn right onto Fair Street.
