[SCA-AE] ATTN: BMDL Area Printmakers (SOT)

Greetings to all those interested in the fine & wonderful art of printmaking & who reside in the vicinity of Pittsburgh.

Artists Image Resource (aka AIR) is having it's Big Birthday Bash this Saturday, October 14th.
The event runs from Noon to Midnight & costs $10 for the event & $10 for the evening bands.

The event has hands-on demos in just about every printmaking techinique you can imagine, including such period techiniques as relief printing, intaglio, screenprinting & letterpress as well as cool-but-not-period printmaking techiniques like stone lithography & digital printing.  

There will also be a display of contemporary prints by a variety of artists, not to mention some excellent food to nibble on between prints. 

The money raised goes to cover AIR's operating expenses.  If you're interested in printmaking in the area & haven't yet discovered this fantastic & rare community resource, I strongly recommend you come check it out.
