Thirty years ago, a tall warrior strode out of the wilds of Fredonia. 
Stopping at the shore of the great Erie Lake, she saw that it was 
good. So, did Morgan Elandris make the Rhydderich Hael her home. And 
having no further concern, she and her companions sought adventure in 
the East. Many wars and feuds did Morgan fight. Honor and fear were 
heaped upon her name and, in time, she became a Baroness by her own 
hand.... But that's a different story. 

Yes, in AS XI, the foundation of our Barony was laid, and three 
decades later we stand tall and proud at our achievements. In honor of 
our 30th anniversary, we wish to show our gratitude to the Kingdom of 
AEthelmearc and our neighbors by holding a free event. That's right, 
the event is free to any and all who show up and tell our Troll, "I 
like the Rhydderich Hael." If you don't like the Hael and don't want 
to lie to the Troll, please bring a toy for Toys for Tots. There will 
be a feast offered at a modest fee and a lunch sideboard. 

There will be fencing in the morning, run by Don Ivan ap Myrddin to 
honor one of the lost pearls of the Hael, THL Caitlin Dierdre of 
Errelyn. 

As this is a Masked Ball, there will be a ball, with masks, and 
dancing. The theme will be what were you wearing 30 years ago. Please, 
no diapers. Come in your oldest garb that still fits you. Bonus points 
if your garb fits your offspring and you make them wear it. Feron 
helms will be legal for this day only (only for protection for Strip 
the Willow). Baroness Peregrine and the Crow's Feet Dancers will be on 
hand to lead the dancing and to teach people how to dance. 

There will be a desert revel after feast, the theme is chocolate, with 
a prize going to the best period and non period chocolate deserts. 
  

Autocrat will be Caleb Reynolds (Caleb Ronsen, 64 Thurston Ave., 
Kenmore NY, 14217-1320, caleb at buffnet.net). 
Feastocrat will be Lord Cynwyl MacDaire (Brian Engler , e-mail 
Slingbadger at aol.com for dietary questions) 

Feast reservations must be in by Nov. 30th and is limited to 40 
people. 

As of 11/30/06 at 21:46, there are 4 reservations available.

If you don't plan on staying for feast, the site is close to a lot of 
really good restruants. 

The site will open at 10:00 AM and close at 10:00 PM and will be held 
at the Independent Health Youth and Family Center, 5005 Sheridan Dr

Feast Fee: $6. Children 6-12 are half price, 5 & under are free.

 The site is Dry and no open flames are allowed. There is a coffe shop 
in the building that will be open to the public; the shop has it's own 
entrance. 

Since there is no site fee, there is no $3.00 non-member fee, however, 
you will need to bring a blue card to avoid signing the dreaded Waver 
of Doom. 

Feast Menu: 

1st Remove 
  Wynter salade, with spinach and cucumbers. 
  Beef and pork pie 
  Cauliflower with lemon sauce 
  Roman eggs 

2nd remove 
 Sausages cooked in apples 
Root vegetable pottage 
 Cucumbers in a honey vinegar sauce

Directions: 
>From the East, West and South: 
Take your best route to I-90 to Buffalo. Take the I-290 West towards 
Niagara Falls. Get off at the Sheridan Dr. exit (Exit 6). Turn Right 
on Sheridan Dr. and travel for 1.8 miles. Park in the back lot, troll 
will be set up there. 

>From Canada: 
Cross into the US over the Bridge of your choice. Take I-190 North or 
South to I-290 East. Take the Sheridan Dr exit (Exit 6). Turn right 
onto Harlem Rd. Turn right onto Sheridan Dr. and go under the I-290. 
Continue on Sheridan for 1.8 miles. Park in the back lot, troll will 
be set up there.
