Red Fridays spam RE: [SCA-AE] Fwd: [sca-pervect] Digest Number 1523

Okay, I'll bite the bullet and be the one to post the "Can't we all just 
get along?" post.

To everyone who has been arguing about this whole red/blue post thing -- 
no one is saying anyone is being unpatriotic. What is being said is that 
such posts aren't appropriate for the SCA-AE list and people are asking 
that this subject, like any other OT post, either be posted in more 
appropriate venues or be labeled OT or the like. That's it.

To everyone who feels the need to be snarky about the SCA on the SCA-AE 
list, I must ask -- why? Most of us on this list love the SCA and this 
Kingdom so rants about how the SCA is wrong wrong wrong are going to 
fall on deaf ears. I must also ask that if you dislike the SCA (or the 
SCA-AE list)  -- why are you still here? If the SCA or the email list 
causes so much bitterness, why stay and subject yourself to such misery? 
Most of us who stay in the SCA do so because we feel like we belong here 
and have found our place in the world. Seeing people be so bitter and 
disdainful of it causes little but hard feelings.
