Forget I posted it. Save all the replies and your time you could
spend doing something else. I didn't mean to start a war and it was
posted on the day I got it. It wasn't planned that way. 

I'd say I'm sorry about this but honestly I'm not. I'm not going to
apologize for my patriotism.

As for why the color red? Go buy one of the standard poppies pins
they sell for showing support. One of the ribbons or magnets or a
hundred other things they sell around veteran's day and tell me the
color. It is Red. Red is the traditional color in this country to
show support of the American soldiers.
