While I agree with what you've said whole heartedly, we have the choice to
make an issue of it, or to hit the delete button.  I am certain that this
was not meant to cause any discomfort for anyone, and in such cases a spoken
word or an email offlist asking that it not happen again, can do wonders.

Like grandma always said, sometimes ignoring things really is the best
course of action : )
