 i wrote a similar message yesterday and then didn't send it. why? fear of
being chastized for not being patriotic. sad.

once again, the only one with the guts to stand up and say something is she
who most appreciates the ability to be able to do so. well do i remember her
story about the man trying to get on the plane with the bag of tea a few
years back. one of the reasons i admire her so much.

here is a clip from what i was going to say:
"am i the only one who thought the patriotic forward was a little too *off*
topic AND really really really felt like i shouldn't say anything because i
was going to be attacked for not being patriotic?
nice sentiment, wrong venue?"

i had more, commenting on colors as well, but.....kazi said it better than i
did.

oddly enough the subject i had chosen for my message was *sigh*
