BTW, since this is presumably a hypothetical case, and I have no
knowledge of this happening recently, I'm not casting aspersions on
any autocrats or Signet officers.  Having served as Signet, myself,
and worked with many Signets, I'm only presenting my opinion on how
this sort of thing should be handled.

Unfortunately a similar suituation has happened since war. I just thought it needed to be brought to the light without embarrassing anyone, nor causing further problems. The sheriff has promised to be more careful in the future.
