A big thanks to everyone that showed-up and contributed either by
running the event, riding, working as groundsmen or marshalling.
Special thanks go out to Vlad and Syr Bear for taking care of all the
jobs Rannveigr and I couldn't get to.

Highlights of the Event:

Our Marshalling staff is one step closer to becoming warranted.

We introduced the "Crest" authorization and games format.
(Congratulations to Dave and Jen Gable and Irene - They are the first
Aethelmerc equestrians to go through the authorization process in this
Kingdom.)

We broke in Taco as an all level riding horse - Despite his fierce
appearance (yeah - right) he proved himself capable of handling
beginning riders without complaint or mishap.

We had several Rider Authorizations: Irene, Banshee, Ragnarr, Barbary
Rose, EJ, Mairi, and Gwenith

We also had several Groundsman Authorizations: Bors, Amelia, Irene,
Banshee, Ragnarr, Barbary Rose, Gregory, Una, Ambrosius, EJ, Mairi,
Gwenith, and Irene

We started planning the 2007 equestrian season. Look for several
equestrian events in the coming year.

The world failed to come to an end when Alexander, dressed in Norman
gear, finally got to ride his own horse at an equestrian event. 8^0

Once again, thank you to everyone for making this a fun time. Rannveigr
and I really appreciate the efforts all of you went to help make this
event a success.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank the stable owner, Mike Van Damia,
for letting us take over his barn on his busiest lesson day.

Take care and ride hard,

AcW
