Bring a spare piece of carpet or a welcome mat for the doorway of your
tent.  Something to keep the worst of the mud off the rest of your stuff
but yet let you not take your shoes off outside while it is pouring.

Bring water proof shoes or something that can get wet - no matter what they
look like.  No point getting lovely period shoes only to ruin them the
first week out.

Extra towels are also good.  I also use an umbrella occasionally - even if
it isn't period.  Sometimes a hooded cloak is enough, but sometimes it
isn't.

This is only my second pensic. I m looking for any suggestions on how to
prepare for a rainy pensic. Is there anything i should bring extra that I
might need to be prepared for bad weather if we get it?

  I know there was a very wet pensic a few years back. was there anything
  extra you did or wish you brought?
