I've been doing this a long time. Perhaps sometimes I am too close to
the subject matter to determine if it is confusing. Sorry.

The http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sca-aethelmearc/ page said:

slightly outdated, but still works.
(I've just updated it to hopefully make it more simple.)

Hmmm... when i did a google search:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=AEthelmearc+Kingdom+Mailing+list
it seems to do the trick. (several sites mentioning old, but working ways
of joining the correct list, and no mention of the yahoo version)

Going to AEthelmearc Mailing lists from the kingdom home page sends
you to http://lists.aethelmearc.net/ which has the correct information
for the kingdom lists.

(BTW, I'm always looking for corrections/additions to that site!)

Well, I could disable the yahoogroup, but it has a fairly large
archive of old message that are good to keep around. Besides, the
other group features (files, photos, links, etc) are useful.

If you follow the directions in the message for replying, they you can.
(just with a slight delay.) The message will bounce, but instead of rejecting
all non-member posts, I review them ad approve them if not spam.

>(also, it's very annoying to read the same messages twice every day)
Ah, that is easy to fix. Since you must be a member of the "real"
list, you can just set your yahoogroup delivery to "no-email". Go to:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sca-aethelmearc/join and choose the
"Web-only" option. (They used to call this no-email, perhaps that
contributes to the confusion.)

I'm going to try to make things a little more clear, and add some
automated reminder messages. I'll also try to do the transfer/set to
"web-only" thing with the yahoo subscriptions this weekend.

If you have any wording suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

hope this helps.

Ich habe keine Ahnung was das bedeutet, oder vielleicht doch?
