Unto the Noble Kingdom of Aethelmearc, Greetings!

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for all their hard work at
Coronation. The Shire of Sunderoak really came through for the Kingdom and
it is Our hope that everyone had as good a time as Her Majesty and I did.
The autocrat and staff of the event really pulled off several minor
miracles! As We wandered around the event, it was great so see so many
people and many smiles were evident, which really warms Our hearts.

We'd also like to take a moment to mention that Curia is coming up on the
Sunday of War Practice. We have created a website that details the current
proposals by the officers and Crown for changes to current Kingdom Law and
Policies. By doing so, We are hoping to allow those who don't normally have
the opportunity to participate in Curia to add their voice to those the
Crown hears, and in doing so open up the process of Curia and Law review a
bit more. The officers have taken great lengths to review their policies
and update the language and intent to where they believe they should be. We
would like to make it possible for the Kingdom to share their opinions, that
We may be as informed as possible to what is best for the whole of the
realm. The link to that site may be found here:

Aethelmearc is a Kingdom filled with many different personalities and
interests. We each have something to add to the Glory of the Kingdom, and
her Majesty and I are looking forward to the next several months of travel
to various places and the opportunity to meet and experience the wealth of
diversity and knowledge that is the hallmark of this Kingdom. Throughout it
all, the greatest unifying sense in Our hearts is Pride in Aethelmearc and
the joy of experiencing all She can offer. We look forward to this journey,
and to experiencing those joys..be they fighting.. or blacksmithing.. or
gunnery.. or weaving.. or scribal..or singing.. with all of those whom We
meet in Our progress. Keep that spirit of Aethelmearc alive in your
hearts.. and share it! For that is how Aethelmearc truly grows and
flourishes.
