[SCA-AE] resignation

Chamberlain is a job where you must work closely with the monarchy. If
you cannot do so or if things aren't working, let someone else do it.
Bowing out graciously is cool.

If your version of "playing the game" does not include dealing with the
Crowns as Monarchs for 6 months, perhaps you should be in another game.
Just a thought.
