One small quibble: The Landed Barons are NOT dictated to be grant level
by Corpora. Each realm can deal with them as they will. The must be
armigerousn is all that Corpora provides for.
Indeed, I would propose that AEthelmearc Kingdom Law be written making
the title of Landed Baron carry with it an AoA, if the new Baron is not
an armiger. Then, when the Landed Baron retires, give him a CB
automatically (paralleling the making of a Royal Peer) and a Grant if
the Barony so petitions & the Crown finds it a worthy thing.
The CB can be given with or without a Grant... that is the Crown's
discretion.
Now, I doubt this law proposal will go very far, but there it is.
Finish your term as Baron successfully, get the CB.
