Honest solicitation for recommendations of a merchant is not a taboo
subject. A *short* reply from a merchant (see signature suggestions)
is allowed.

Direct commercial advertising that does not benefit the kingdom is
frowned upon.

The occational "FS" post from private individuals selling things they
don't need any longer (tent, armor, etc) is allowed, but should be
tagged with FS and have a meaningful subject.

Subject: FS - Used 10x10 pavilion, $350, BMDL
would be a good subject.

If you have a shop and participate in the list and would like to
advertise, I suggest you append a short (< 5 lines) signature that
points folks to a website for your wares and contribute to the list
normally by participating in on topic discussion.
