[SCA-AE] Jousting? ...In Aethelmearc? Yup!

That sounds most interesting.. and I look forward to seeing some jousting in
the coming year.  Thanks for sharing that information with us.  I have a
question.. at Gulf Wars last year, I was told that they needed the round
"cores" that some fabric comes on.  Are we still using those cores?  I'm
asking since I saved my cores from the velveteen we bought, for our
jousters.

I wanted to mention it here, since it this is the "core" that we are using
for "lances", there will likely be others on this list who may have or will
get one of these cores.

In short, we are now set to begin jousting witin the Kingdom.  For
those of you who are interested, I suggest you contact Viscount
Alexander (duane <at> velocity <dot> net) with any questions you may
have about the rules, the requirements or the expierience of the
joust.  For those of you with a sincere interest, I suggest you attend
Horses, Hounds and Hawks this weekend for a full demonstration of SCA
equestrian activities.
