I have been in gymnasium-type halls before and after people's personal and
group banners were hung on the walls, and even the scant amount of
decorations made a huge difference. I know that there have been calls and
exhortations toward more pageantry, but suppose we view banners as a
practical matter. If each one of us would make a banner the size of a large
bath towel, and actually mount it on a rod and bring it (along with suction
cups or tape or whatever hanging hardware is allowed at the hall), imagine
what a huge difference this would make.
