Guiletta, YOU don't need electric amplification. ;-)

However, I have been at many, many courts in several kingdoms where the
herald's voice could not reach the middle of the hall, let alone the
back...either because he/she lacked the respiratory fortitude, or
because of the atrocious acoustics of the venue, or both.
