Thank you for your answer. The problem is that the data are on a damaged disk, I can see the cyrus.cache, cyrus.index and cyrus.headers in ever (sub) folder but not the individual messages.<br><br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

you must recover the enitre mailbox from your backup, for example
user called "generic"<br>

at this point you use reconstruct to rebuild hte mailbox with cyrus
index files<br>

su cyrus<br>
reconstruct -r -f user.generic<br>

then you rebuild hte quota<br>
<br>
quota -f user.generic<br>
<br>
and you are done.<br>

But you must recover the individual message files in the mailbox
path otherwise you are lost.<br>
