<p>greetings all.<br /><br />This morning a user called me saying that he
was using reading his email (via squirrelmail) in one computer, then he
logged out, and some time later went to another computer open
squirrelmail, and his mail was gone....<br /><br />I checked directly in
the mailstore and he had only a couple of messages, but he assures me that
he did not delete anything....<br /><br />After some search on the log
files, I found something like this:<br /><br /><font

recovered /var/lib/imap/user/C/user^name.seen (3 records, 7316 bytes) in 0
seconds<br /><br /></em></strong></font><font color="#000000">after some
more digging, Ifind that a bunch of account have the same type of
"error" messages.<br /><br />What do they mean? and how to fix
them? are they serious?<br /><br />I read some info and it says to delete
the .seen and athen reconstruct the db for all users, but I'm not sure I
want to do that for all the system.<br /><br />Is there a way to do it for
a single user (or a smal group of users).<br /><br />Will cyrus delete
emails during the process of recovering a user.seen file?<br /><br
