I know that cyrus has some locking issues with the DBs over gfs. My boss is dead set on active/active solution so the replication routes are off the table.<br><br>I saw some postings that it seems the University of Pittsburg had some patches that they never released that seemed to tie into the pid's of processes locking the db's.
<br><br>So I'm wondering if anyone knows how to go about this or any ideas on how to start looking at the code to make those changes. I'm no expert in C but i know my way around the language.<br><br>Any tips or such is greatly needed.
