Right, as does HTML (atleast, for our intents and purposes), without the
overhead of having to learn a new toolset and language (or the complexity
of LaTeX).

I guess to an extent we lose the ability to do PDF and PS documentation.

I think the real problem we were experiencing was that failures of
htmlstrip were not breaking the build, so we didn't notice them, which has
been fixed.
