I am a CSI Educator from Kansas. Has any progress been made in setting up<br>
Alice to run on a Chromebook (which my students have)? My IT does not want<br>
to get into Linux. I am using Scratch as an introduction for Middle School<br>
students to programming logic and I would like to step up to Alice to<br>
continue that concept.<br>

<br>
The only way for Alice to run on Chromebooks is through the native Linux<br>
OS. Many IT departments will not support this.<br>
Another option for schools/districts to explore is using Amazon's AppStream<br>
service to have a 'virtual computer lab' so students can access apps like<br>
Alice or Blender through a browser.<br>
