<div class="" style="word-wrap:break-word; line-break:after-white-space">My student uncovered a bug in Alice 3 (3.6.0.1+build.500, confirmed both Windows and Mac). He was working on a homework assignment that I gave that is similar to “Magnet Fun” from the


 Dann-Cooper-Pausch book. Here are the steps to reproduce the bug:


<div class="">1. Create a new project.</div>


<div class="">2. Add an object (I used Mjolnir).</div>


<div class="">3. Add an adultPerson.</div>


<div class="">4. Set the vehicle of Mjolnir to the person’s wrist joint.</div>


<div class="">5. In myFirstMethod, call this.adultPerson.setAdultPersonResource with any look.</div>


<div class="">6. Run the project.</div>


<div class="">Mjolnir disappears.</div>
