<font style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size:12px;" class="">Our school is using Alice 2.5, and when the class saves a project to our network storage area (students open Alice locally), it takes from 3 to 15 minutes to complete the save. I have tested this as well from my Tech Office, and can confirm that the save takes the same amount of time (the project being saved is the "First Encounter Example.a2w). When I save the file locally to my machine, the save time is less than 30 seconds. What I would like to know is if this is normal for the program to take longer saving to network storage than locally? Is there some hidden file that is being transferred with the project when it saves to a network?<br class="">
