Join us on the Carnegie Mellon University campus in Pittsburgh, PA, for a 4 ½ -day workshop. Workshop participants should plan to arrive in Pittsburgh on Sunday, July 15 and depart Friday, July 20. The last session for the workshop will end on July 20 at 12:00 pm.</span><br style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;" class=""><br style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;" class=""><span style="font-family: verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="">This workshop is designed for teachers and mentors of students from upper elementary school through first-year college-level with little or no experience with Alice and / or computer programming. Working with nationally recognized experts in Alice 3, a tool developed at Carnegie Mellon, teachers in this workshop will learn how to use the Alice 3 programming environment for teaching fundamental programming concepts.
