I just created a drop box for my students to access and they upload their files onto the server. Then I dump them to my laptop so I can grade them outside of school. I have them save the files with their last name first, in the file name, so they are in alphabetical order. The documentation is done in google docs for easy access. The other problem Schoology presents is that (I believe) it sets by default a smallish limit on the maximum file size allowed for student uploads.
