Bill,

This is a good reminder that I have meant to reach out to people I know at facebook to hear their thoughts on this issue. As of now you can elect not link it to a facebook account but they do say that will change within a year I believe. I was strongly hoping they would roll back this requirement for this very reason or provide a different avenue for schools.

I will also do some testing to see if there is a way to put the rift s in developer mode or some other work around to get content to the device. I am curious if the required Oculus account that is required now is also not compliant? It is a challenge because I believe the HTC Vive and others all also require an account for their device or steam etc to power them…

If anyone else has any input in this conversation I am very interested to hear. I will let everyone know if I hear anything from people at Oculus or Facebook.

Sincerely,

Eric
