alice-teacher Help with Netbeans PlugIn

Is there someone who can help with getting the netbeans plugin installed?
I am running into a problem I cannot seem to find an answer to. (I have the
plugin on my school laptop, but I cannot get it installed on my desktops in
my lab)

When I try to install the plug in, I receive a message from the installer
that some other plugins are required.  When I try to find the plug-ins to
install them, I come up empty.

I have a feeling this is very simple and that I am just overlooking
something, but I do not have time to dive deeply into this and I think
someone probably has already done it and could easily just tell me what I
have overlooked.

I have administrator privileges in my classroom, but IT does most of the
heavy lifting with installation of software.  Unfortunately, they are not
willing to really help with this, and are assuming I can handle it - but, I
truly just do not know enough about how plug ins and ides work.

The message states "Some plugins require plugin XXXX to be installed" ...
and XXXX is Common Annotations, Progress API, Javac API Wrapper, Editor
Code Completion, and the list goes on.

I thought perhaps the Netbeans installation had not been complete and that
I would need to go find these plugins, but searching for "Common
Annotations" did not work, so ... alas.

Operating System: Windows 10

JAVA HOME: C:\Program Files\AdoptOpenJDK\jre-8.0.242.08-hotspot\


In Program Files, Under the Java folder I have

jdk-12.0.2


In Program Files x86, Under the Java folder I have

jdk1.7.0_79
jre7


In Program Files under AdoptOpenJDK I have

 jre-8.0.242.08-hotspot
 jre-11.0.6.10-hotspot


In the netbeans.conf file, the jdk home is

netbeans_jdkhome="C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_79"



What other information would be useful in helping to solve this?
